"I am forever grateful for my time with OJL. I started as a young 21 year old with the program and I grew and developed just as much as all of the players. However, I think this new opportunity is great for me and my family. I will be able to spend more time at home and get the opportunity to rebuild this Omaha ACHA program to what it should be. I want to create a culture that supports one another, pushes one another, graduate our student-athletes and win hockey games and championships." - Harrahill said.
One of Harrahill's key strengths is his emphasis on both individual and team development. He is known for his ability to identify and nurture the unique talents of each player, helping them reach their full potential. Under his guidance, players can expect to see improvements in their skills, as well as their overall understanding of the game.

Harrahill's experience in leading his team to national success will undoubtedly inspire and motivate the players as they strive for greatness.
In addition to his coaching abilities, Harrahill is also known for his commitment to the community. He has actively worked to develop youth hockey programs and promote the sport in the Omaha area through Harrahill Hockey Camp. His passion for the game extends beyond the rink, and he believes in using hockey as a vehicle for personal growth and character development.
"I have had the opportunity to coach a few of the players already on the team here at UNO and we already have incredible relationships. That is my first priority as coach is building relationships with all of the players and bringing in the right players who will help establish a winning culture of what we are trying to build" - Harrahill stated.
As Head Coach Nick Harrahill embarks on this new chapter in his coaching career with the University of Nebraska at Omaha ACHA hockey team, there is an air of anticipation surrounding the program. With his winning mindset, coaching expertise, and dedication to player development, Harrahill has the potential to take the Mavericks to new heights. As players and fans eagerly await the upcoming season, they are confident that Harrahill's leadership will lead the team to continued success on and off the ice.
Harrahill closed with "None of this is possible without the support from my family. My wife was really supportive in a difficult split with OJL and she jumped right on board with me to take this opportunity here at UNO. My two sons Lawson and Greyson are going to have more great role models to look up to and I am just excited to get started and build what the players wanted me to come in here and build."
